Looking forward to the next one August 12, 2008 A. Smith (London, England United Kingdom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
To me this set of eleven songs seems like This Is The Life - a deserving worldwide hit, with six million YouTube views at the time of writing - and ten charming variations. Collectively, they just about pull their weight, and occasionally get close to genius (e.g. 'Poison Prince', in my humble opinion). I very much hope we will see one or two more big ideas in the second album.
which deaf knobheads have given this 1 star? July 6, 2008 Andrew S. Finel (New Mill, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The most talented artist that came out of 2007. Every track could be a single. 19/20 year old with all this wonderful music in her. Brilliant.
Excellent - more please June 26, 2008 Andy (UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Many of these songs have an excellent use of rhythm, beat and bass to create very catchy pop rock, yet retaining the simplicity of singer/songwriter style folk music. My roots are in 70s/80 rock music and yet I really love this.
Refreshing talent June 23, 2008 Sara Calder (Scotland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this album not expecting much and was blown away. It is totally refreshing to hear such a young girl singing against the current celebrity culture. Have seen her live and she is a greta live performer as well:) Stand out tracks for me are Run, Let's Start A Band, LA and Poison Prince. You won't be disappointed.

This is a fantastic CD that everyone should hear. Spread the word. Even better if you see Amy live. Enjoy.
