5 out of 5 stars I missed the album in the middle   January 4, 2009

Enya's album contains androids from inside a tape machine. WELL, let me explain. Firstly; yes, this is real. Horrible, nasty articulate word witch Enya has become pregnant with sound and is threatening to catapult her lifeless torso onto a moving spike that exists somewhere on track 5, she is helped by Wazzy Dave.

5 out of 5 stars Winter has come!   January 3, 2009

Well a much anticipated wait has delivered another beautiful collection of Enya tracks to warm many a winter's day or night. Yes a lot of Enya's music can sound in a similar vein, but that is what she does and she does it well.
There is something hypnotic about the way the music is produced that serves up what we actually want. Very laid back and melodic - it will have you chilled in no time. Die hard Enya fans should add this to their collection.
Some tracks are Christmas orientated - bells and winter themes but who cares. Altogether a really great album from a wonderfully elusive artist who knows how to deliver to her audience. You'll love it.

5 out of 5 stars Enya returns with a new winter themed album!   December 30, 2008

After the long wait since 2005's Amarantine, we are treated to Enya's newest album release 'And winter came'. The winter / Christmas theme of the album left no surprises about how it would sound and does not disappoint! Like any new Enya album, we are made to wait because of the lengthy process in which Enya uses to master her unique and captivating sounds. The album 'And winter came' in my opinion, has the same quality and is as good as all of Enya's previous album (if not better!). Highlights of the album for me are 'White is in the winter night', 'Last time by moonlight', 'Trains and winter rains' and 'My my time flies'. Although Enya hasn't really broken any new ground with this album, she continues to make music that is timeless, beautiful and simply captivating! And the best part is 'And winter came' isn't a just Christmas album, it is a winter themed album that i can continue to enjoy any time of the year. Recommended buy.....

5 out of 5 stars A classic of our days   December 28, 2008

Enya's music is above time. It soothes like the falling rain and makes you smile like the starlight. I only wish she could produce more than one cd a year.

5 out of 5 stars Top choice   December 14, 2008

At last! Enya comes back with a cracking album as expected. Diverse music and her reckonisable style. It's a winner. I put on to play as often as possible. A top choice for Enya fans.
