I bought this DVD about 8 months ago after hearing 2 of his songs at a friends house, and as yet I havn't taken it out of the DVD player! He has the voice of a choir boy and the Wit to equil any top Stand up.
somewhere within is a song to offend pretty much anybody from young to old. Male or female. and thats what makes it SO GOOD!

if you are thinking of getting something to make anybody laugh as many times as you can possibly watch it then BUY IT NOW!!!!!

I saw a few reviews on the american amazon, and they don't do this dvd any justice. THey think that he uses crude humour and un-funny jokes to gain cheap laughs - but i disagree. I think Lynch's DVD is the funniest thing.... EVER! Armed with his acoustic guitar, and nothing else, he takes the audience through a range of songs including superhero, d & d - and my personal favourite... Craig Christ.
I do agree that he stalls a lot talking to the audience, which sometimes can be frustrating - but you just have to imagine you were there, and it becomes a funnier point of the dvd.

5 out of 5 stars Stephen Lynch--A comedy god/genius?   August 28, 2005
Well what can i say about Stephen Lynch, that already hasn't been said?,the guy is absolute GENIUS!, he does look a bit "All American"...till he opens his mouth!, then the devil comes out, There is not one song here that i think would not have you crying laughing!,This DVD is well worth buying, you can watch it over & over again, and not get bored, so what you waiting for...stop reading this and BUY IT!.

I purchased this dvd as soon as i seen it was available, and was very excited to see the release of this. When it arrived i opened it and put it straight in my DVD player, and i can say i wasnt dissapointed! If you are a fan of Lynch then this is a DVD for you, as it has a mixture of classic Lynch at his best and some new songs that impress and have you in stitches on the floor. He adds new parts into his old songs so theres a new excitement to his old songs, but i wont say which ones as that is worth waiting for. Even if you havent seen lych before and you enjoy a gud laugh with a choir boy telling un-choir-like jokes whilst playing guitar then i reccomend this to you aswell. Overall, its worth a purchase!
