better than the official release November 4, 2008 Allan Holdsworth fan (UK) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This live American concert in 1992 emerged on cd at about the same time as the Geffen release "The road to you" which was culled from PMG's european concerts in the early 90's. While this current selection may not quite equal that release in the quality of the sound, it is a much better live performance overall. There are a couple of small blips in the performance but this is live and taken from one concert. Raw Metheny but edge of your seat performance. The tracks on the disc are:- have you heard every summer night better days ahead last train home if i could spring ain't here straight on red miuano (6/8) third wind The personel are:- Metheny/Mays/Rodby/Wertico/Marcal/Aznar The concert was recorded live in the USA in 1992 at what venue we are sadly not informed.

Pat, again show hıs innovative playing and facinating illusions on human sense of hearing. Personally I didn't think about playlist much but ıt's surely feels good to listen this album. On the Oter hand, pat again handles musıc in a transformative format so that sometimes it can convert itself into a group-played or an orchestra-played country essenced jazz but no saturation from this. Finally, general performance is no less than the other albums.
