1 out of 5 stars awful hell   April 30, 2008
Mr. S. Gajewski (essex england)
i first saw/heard this song on richard and judy, and i thought i was in hell. This is terrible stuff, i can imagine the person who thought this would be a good idea to unleash on us innocent men - what a total berk. I saw the video last night, very very late at night, early even... I cannot stand this song or video, the people in it arent real, they were created on a computer by an evil egg king or queen just to annoy me. dont be fooled.!!! In fact, I am going to completely deny that this song exists from now on. If I hear it again, I will convince myself that im actually hearing ZZ top.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect Pop   April 28, 2008
Mr Colin Green (London United Kingdom)
This is my pop song of the year, LOVE IT, great hooks, nice piano, funky guitar, good to tell it's not English or American, they actually sound happy, far too much whingeing and aggression on the music scene, buy this, it'll make you feel happy!

I don't know how this song even got onto CD, it is so poor with half the song spent saying 'the word thats on your lips', well what is the word?
this song should have been called aggrevation!

5 out of 5 stars Quality Pop Music without the hype   March 24, 2008

I have to agree with the last reviewer, this is the best "pop" song I have heard for what seems like years. Iam an 80s kid myself, and the sound of the record is so evocative of that era ( I,m thinking Martha and the Muffins, B-52s etc.). Its kinda kitsch, but not in a bad way. Well produced and arranged, and the boy/girl lead vocals work incredibley well together.
Unlike the first review, I have been hearing this on the radio for about a month now( originally I thought it was an 80s oldie I hadnt heard before), and I never get fed up with it........quite the opposite.......its so refreshing to hear such an honest dynamic pop tune in amongst all the dross we get these days.

I honestly believe some people are confused by it. They dont know if its "cool" to admit to liking it. It does'nt fit in with all the serious muso crap that portrays itsef as pop these days, or the X-Factor guff, or the RnB by numbers muzak.... none of which have hooks or melodies.

Dont analyse this tune too much, just enjoy its sheer sense of fun !!

I instantly liked this song first time I heard it. Fast tempo, Catchy chorus. A refreshing change from the seriously doomy guitar bands out there. Their video also adds to their feelgood out to have fun factor.
