Amazon.co.uk Review
The story of Swedish producer/DJ Jonas Erik Altberg's--a.k.a Basshunter--rise to fame makes for some compelling reading. He started out making tunes on basic equipment in his bedroom and putting them out via the Internet. After releasing his debut album through his home page, he watched it chart all over Europe. Altberg then managed to get into the Dutch Top 40 with a single ("Boten Anna"), quickly became in demand as a producer and DJ and eventually inked a deal with major label Warners. Now You're Gone is his third album and features all the Basshunter trademarks: repetitive bleeps and beats, euphoric vocals and surging choruses. The record pummels away at the cerebellum with a relentless flow of unchanging beats, formulaic builds/drops and tacky covers such as KC and The Sunshine Band's "Please Don't Go". After a couple of tracks the album seems to blur into one long Basshunter anthem. The dearth of ideas and lack of diversity may render it a little too one-dimensional for many dance music fans, but devotees of euro-dance and fans of Altberg's previous material will find it's thudding power hopelessly exhilarating. --Danny McKenna

I love this man's work, and I hope he does more work. The work I am refering to is of course his previous day job.

Having really liked the Basshunter singles I got the album. So glad I did as it's fantastic. If you like Basshunter already, or like music with a beat, then this is the album for you.

I love this album!
I bought this album for 'now you're gone' and it's probably the track i have listened to least, all tracks are so bouncy and just great.
